Welcoming young children too!
The fact that we had 3 different people wanting to come and stay at Pen Y Garn this coming week has confirmed that we do need to have another place to offer our lovely guests. We are delighted to announce that we will shortly be opening 94, High Street Tumble as a holiday let. This lovely 2 bedroom terraced house will replicate the high standards of Pen Y Garn with the addition of welcoming younger children and pets. We are making this a dog friendly property and perfect for younger children having neither steep slopes or ponds. At the rear of the property behind the parking area is a recreation ground and woodland. Fantastic safe play area for both children and dogs with gorgeous views over to the hills.
This will also be a perfect base for the growing number of our guests who are visiting family in the area.
We are busily kitting out the house and hope to go ‘live’ very soon. The house can accommodate up to 4 people with a king sized double room and bunk beds in the smaller room. On the ground floor there is a sitting dining room, fully equipped kitchen and a rather gorgeous bath/shower room. The pretty garden has a terrace for sitting and eating out and a secure outbuilding for bike store. Being close to the cycle path to Llanelli it will be a great place to bring your bike. There will also be WiFi and TV for relaxing after a busy day exploring this beautiful part of West Wales.
No 94 is in the village of Tumble which developed in the 19th century to house the anthracite miners who were employed at the nearby Dynant Fach and Great Mountain collieries. It is a really friendly place and has shops and takeaway restaurants within 5 minutes walk of the front door. We can particularly vouch for the fish and chip shop which has sustained us during renovations!
